Some days I feel like I’m painting fairy tales for the future. Others I wonder if instead I’m creating art for the apocalypse. Maybe it’s a bit of both.

I am passionate in my belief of the importance of creativity and beauty in our world. Art isn’t extraneous, it is essential. Bird on the Wing Design is my creative laboratory for explorations in watercolors, illustration, textile design, and other artistic mediums. The natural world is my greatest source of inspiration.  My rescue dog is my frequent studio companion, the very best kind of laptop.
